Girl Geek Dinner 21: timetable and more

17 October 2017

Are you as excited as we are for this Thursday? Good! We have some more info on our well visited – over 40 registered people – event. Read on!

As you may have read before, we have three awesome speakers: Marjel Quekel, Anouk Visser and Simona Nickmanova. For the night, we also have a moderator: Karin van Soest! The way we learn about these ladies is that Karin will ask them tons of questions – and you, the audience, are welcome to join in.

The talks

Here’s a rough timetable for the event: from 1900h up to 2200h we’ll have food, a drink or two and conversations in this order and with the following topics.

Karin will talk to Marjel first about her experience in being in leadership positions within AI startups and accelerator/investment and how to get there, as well as what she sees other women in her field are doing.

Then Anouk is on for a conversation about the route she took in studying AI and starting her business – and the challenges she faced when developing the right AI product.

Last and definitely not least, Simona will tell us more about existing AI communities and the women she’s met, how to build one, why it is great fun to be in one, and… why AI is THE field to work in.

Loosely scheduled

Because these are interactive conversations, we chose to schedule the event loosely –¬†from 19h to 22h. We have no doubt that you will enjoy the evening we have mapped out for you – meeting inspiring women. Not only on stage: you might be sitting next to one!

We’ll see you in a few days at Rockstart’s office, Rigakade 10, Amsterdam.
