Setup Utrecht and Girl Geek Dinner NL organize their own “TEDxAmsterdamWomen Viewing Party”.
This is already the 3rd edition of TEDxAmsterdamWomen, a program of talks, workshops and of course the livestream TEDWomen events from around the world. The event is preceded by the 4th edition of TEDxAmsterdam on November 30. That means a whole weekend dedicated to inspiration and ideas.
The theme of this year’s TEDxAmsterdamWomen; “Dare to choose”. Whether it’s about career, love, happiness, technical breakthroughs, scientific discoveries or simply choose to survive, the theme is the backdrop for the program.
Worldwide, women are at the forefront of change. It can be an African girl that stimulates the village economy through her own microcredit. Or highly educated women who constructively change the way big European multinationals are organized. Women bring forth ideas and reshape our future.
We are on the eve of a quiet revolution. One in which both strength and vulnerability change the way we interact with the world and with each other. In the areas of ​​technology, entertainment, design, science, culture, art and global affairs, women shine. It is their vigor, pride and vision that slowly change the world around us.
